If you're a little stress and tired of the fast pace of life that we live in, I know the best place for being relax and renew your energies; Parque Forestal, this is a big park located in the center of Santiago, and covers Barrio Lastarria area and the historic Centre of the city. There you can find places like: Bruna Palace, Ruben Dario Museum, Palacio Bellas Artes Museum Mercado Central and Estación Mapocho. In all these places you can find typical Chilean food ( in Mercado Central) or several cultural activities all the year ( at the Museum). Parque Forestal is the most traditional park in Santiago, and is lined by the Mapocho River. If you wanna go there you can do it by subway; there are three subway station that let you there: Bellas Artes, Baquedano and Puente Cal y Canto. About the prices you don't have to worry 'cause the park is totally free, but if you decide to go to the Museum you have to pay 600 Chilean pesos if you are an adult or 300 Chilean pesos if you're a student, which is very cheap.
